Arjun Malwankar lives a middle class life with his father and step mother. He is educated but is unable to find a decent employment due to the widespread corruption and exploitation of powers and money. Due to his lack of job, his stepmother constantly says nasty things and taunts him when she gets an opportunity. Arjun has a group of friends who are struggling with finding a job as well and are just as angry with the whole system as much as Arjun. One day out of the blue, Arjun crosses paths with a dreaded gangster who also happen to be friends of the local MP. He then decides to expose the MP but lands himself in some troubled waters. Arjun is directed by Rahul Rawail and produced by Karim Morani and Sunil Sooram. The music is composed by R.D Burman. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Javed Akhtar. The star cast includes Sunny Deol, Dimple Kapadia, Raj Kiran, Supriya Pathak, Shashikala, Anupam Kher, Satyajeet Puri and Prem Chopra.
