Arjun Pandit, played by Sunny Deol is a god fearing and hard working man from a small village in Uttar Pradesh. He comes from a middle class background and works as a college professor. He is focused on his work and doesn’t intervene in anything else other than worship Goddess Laxmi. One day things take a drastic turn in his life when he witnesses some male students molesting a female student named Sangeeta. The police call Arjun in for questioning but he denies having seen anything and turns hostile and acts like a coward. This doesn’t go down well with some students, especially the girl who was molested.
Some days later he meets Nisha, played by Juhi Chawla and falls in love with her. She too likes him and they spend a lot of time getting to know each other. Soon Arjun’s world comes crashing down when he is embroiled in a murder and Nisha willingly testifies against him. This ruins his life and he is jailed. After completing his sentence, Arjun swears revenge on Nisha and becomes the most dreaded and cold-hearted goon.
The movie is directed by Rahul Rawail and produced by N R Pachisia. The star cast includes Saurabh Shukla,Mukesh Rishi,Daler Mehndi,Annu Kapoor,Shahbaaz Khan,Ashish Vidyarthi,Jeetu Verma,Virendra Saxena,Deepak Qazir,Shashi Sharma,Vaibhav Raut,Ravi Patwardhan,Ganesh Yadav and Aruna Sangal. The music is composed by Dilip Sen and SameerSen.
