Anil falls in love with Shobha and the two are soon to get married. Meanwhile, Anil has to travel abroad for some important work and asks Shobha to take care of his family and  also wait for him. After about a year when Anil returns home,he is shocked to find that Shobha has married a wealthy man JK. A heartbroken Anil leaves town and goes far away. In reality, Shobha married JK so that he would release Anil’s sister’s lover Rakesh. JK also wanted to marry Shobha to take revenge of being embarrassed by her in public. Now he constantly humiliates her everywhere. Meanwhile Anil meets Sona and gets married to her. JK finds out that he will die soon due to alcohol consumption and starts
being nice to Shobha. He dies after a few months. Anil thinks this is Shobha’s fate for marrying JK for his riches. She is now pregnant with JK’s child. Sona meanwhile has an accident and the doctors informs her that she may never be able to conceive a child. Shobha then gives her own child to Sona and consumes poison. The film is directed and produced by J Om Prakash. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Raj Babbar, Reena Roy, Parveen, Shashi Puri, Sujit Kumar, Sudhir Dalvi and Preeti Sapru
