Laxmi Narayan is a wealthy man living a lavish life with his wife and son. Unfortunately his young son gets separated from them in a mishap. The only distinguishing factor to recognize his son is a locket around his neck. Laxmi then falls ill and passes away, leaving behind a huge estate and wealth for them. His wife is now desperate to find her son and also takes help from her relative Durjan Singh to locate him. Durjan Singh has a twisted mind and sees this as an opportunity to usurp Laxmi’s wealth. He then sends a local thug posing as Laxmi’s son. Laxmi’s wife accepts the boy wholeheartedly and brings him up like her own son. Little does she know that Durjan has ulterior motives behind seeing her happy.
The film is directed by Sudharshan Nag and produced by M A K Hilal. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the story is written by K C Bokadia The cinematography is by Sudarshan Nag. The star cast includes Rajnikanth, Shatrughan Sinha, Raadhika, Anita Raj, Shakti Kapoor, Amrishpuri and Sarath kumar.
