Shrikant reads his diary and realizes that Aditi couldn’t have been pregnant with him as he was travelling for work. He is then furious and demands an explanation from Aditi. She then tells him how Malhar was her music teacher and they fell in love. When Aditi tries to confess to Shrikant about her pregnancy with Malhar, he misunderstands, having gotten his first big contract and assumes the child is his.
