In the town of Gurgaon, ACP Arya, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is raised by his uncle Ravikant as he lost his father at an early age. His father inspector Vijaykant, played by Anupam Kher fails a mission of arresting Yashvardhan due to lack of evidence. Yashvardhan’s wife, Veera becomes a police informer against him and runs off with one of their twin boys Vishal, played by Arjun Kapoor. Vijayakant hides Veera, who he begins to fall in love with and his son. Vijaykant later dies of an illness and Arya goes to meet Veera to find Vishal looking just like Ajay. He later learns that they are twin brothers.
Ravikant decides to expose Yashvardhan’s criminal activities with Arya’s help. They kidnap Ajay and send Vishal in his place to pass on sensitive information. During this mistaken identity drama, Vishal meets Ajay’s girlfriend and falls in love with her. He keeps passing on important information to Ravikant and Arya and they in turn make Ajay reveal their father’s illegal activities. Vishal develops an emotional bond with his father and pleads with the police to let him go.
Meanwhile Ravikant has plans to take over Yashvardhan’s empire and wants to kill Veera and Ajay. During a meeting between Yashvardhan’s business partner Neena and Vishal, Ravikanth hatches a plan to get them killed but Vishal already has plans to kill them. Arya however, records their meeting and expose Ravikanth. Ravikanth shoots Arya but Vishal saves him by shooting Ravinath. At the end Veera is re-united with her twin sons Ajay and Vishal.
The movie is directed by Atul Sabharwal and produced by Aditya Chopra. The music is composed by Amartya Rahut and Vipin Mishra.
