Lalla is a well known and notorious don of the underworld who has been terrorizing the city with his evil deeds and businesses. His best aid is Azad who is a daredevil and never misses a target when given a job. One day Azad rescues a prostitute named Meena from a brothel and invites the wrath of dreaded gangster Bhau. He then helps her to realize her dreams of becoming a singer and entrusts that responsibility to a music director Dhiren who trains and guides her. In a matter of a few days not only is Azad in love with Meena but so is Dhiren. Turns out Meena also has a soft corner for Dhiren.
Meanwhile Bhau’s hit men are on a rampage looking for Azad and Meena and will do anything to have them killed. The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by P Raghunathan. The music is composed by Anu Malik and the screenplay is written by Suraj Sanim. The star cast includes Anil Kapoor,Govinda, Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Avtar Gill and Mahesh Anand.
