Ronny used to be the star player for the Indian cricket team, however in the last couple of matches, he has been under performing. Hence the jury decides to replace him with another brilliant star player named Sunny. This makes Ronny furious and he is at loggerheads with Sunny. Although Sunny has no animosity towards him, Ronny despises him and wants to bring him down at every given chance. Just when things couldn’t have gotten any worse, there is a tip off that some terrorists have planted a bomb in the cricket stadium where a match will be played between India and Australia.
The DIG Vikram Singh comes to know of the evil plans of the terrorists and avoids the plan being successful. Soon not only are thousands of lives saved but Sunny also becomes the man of the match by winning. The film is directed by Dev Anand and produced by Navketan Productions. The star cast includes Dev Anand, Aamir Khan, Aditya Pancholi, Neeta Puri, Ektaa Sohini and Vikram Gokhale.
