Thakur Kiran is a wealthy man ruling the village. His father was killed by Baadal’s father over a spat, who, now dead, was a poor farmer. This creates enmity between the two families. Baadal has been living on the piece of disputed land that Thakur and his family so badly wanted. Years pass by and Baadal has grown up and falls in love with Kiran’s niece Meenakshi. She however does not know about the hostility between the two families. She however then realizes that her family will kill Baadal if this union had to happen and goes to a mandir to tell him not to meet again. At this point Baadal puts sindoor in her hair and marries her. This creates more complications in the family and almost kills Baadal, but love conquers all. The film is directed by Ramanand Sagar and produced by Moti Sagar. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the story is written by Moti Sagar. The star cast includes Shammi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Poonam Dhillon, Madhu Kapoor, Arun Govil and Shakti Kapoor.
