The government declares a state of emergency in the country. Around that time Sanjeev, a powerful person in the government exposes Maharani Gitanjali for having a lot of gold withheld from the government. Previously being snubbed by her, he takes revenge by asking army officer Rudra to seize the gold and put her behind bars. He does as told by forcibly taking all her gold and arresting her. The gold is then sent for being transported in a strong safe to Delhi by a truck. Gitanjali then plans to get the gold back to her by informing her trusted aid and lover Bhavani Singh and Sanjana to help get the gold. They manage to throw the officers out of the truck and gain control of the truck and try to open the safe.
Before the gold is planned to be returned to Gitanjali, Bhavani Singh learns a disturbing news that the maharani simply used Bhavani for her personal gains and manipulated him. Bhavani Singh then takes the gold and distributes it to all the poor people and Gitanjali is left alone in the desert to fend for herself. The film is directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Milan Luthria. The music is composed by Pritam. The cinematography is by Sunita Radia. The star cast includes Ajay Devgan,Emraan Hashmi,Vidyut Jammwal, Ileana Dcruz and Esha Gupta.
