Perfect to be called a comedy of errors, since there are many lookalikes and thus double the confusion. Kabir, played by Ali Fazal is a happy go lucky good-looking boy who loves writing and is an aspiring novelist. He falls head over heels in love with a pretty girl called Rachna, played by Anisa Butt. She looks up to her brother Laxmi, played by Gulshan Grover a little too much for comfort. After Kabir and Rachna become friends and lovers all she would ever talk about is brother, how strict he is , how possessive and compassionate.
Now Kabir is in a dilemma, as he has to impress Rachna’s brother to get ahead in their relationship. Her brother’s opinion will make all the difference in Kabir’s life or it could be a living hell otherwise. He thus hatches a plan to enter their house and claims to be a research student. However, Laxmi comes to know of Kabir’s real identity and grants his permission to marry his sister.
All seems to go as planned until Kabir’s rowdy and crude look-a-like Rasiya Bihari comes along. He works for a mafia and comes to evacuate the house but falls for Rachna. He realizes that she loves Kabir and kidnaps him so he can get the girl as well as her money and house. Rasiya meets Debu Daruwalla who is a look-a-like of Laxmi and wants his ancestral house. So he keeps Laxmi in his place and abducts Debu. The confusion and humor just keeps doubling. The movie is directed by Shuja Ali and produced by Sayed Asif Jah and Megha Agarwal. The music is composed by Harpreet Singh.
