Two families who live across to each other namely; the D’Souzas and the Chaddhas have been the closest friends and spend a lot of time together. They know each and every member of their respective families and treat each other like families. However things turn for the worse when Anjali Chaddha falls in love with Anthony D’Souza. This brings resentment between both families when they learn of the growing romance. The friendship comes to an end as they do not approve their children to be married in different religions.
Thus left with no choice, Anjali and Anthony elope and get married. The two families are left to deal with the bitterness and resentment all their lives. Almost 27 years later a young man called Raja, played by Anil Kapoor comes to the town and claims to be Anthony and Anjali’s son. He comes to unite both families again. But the damage has been done and they are even hostile towards Raja. However Raja is not really who he claims to be.
The movie is directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Anil Kapoor. The music is composed by Anu Malik and the cinematography is by Rajiv Jain.
