Bahurani is an Emotional-Romantic Family Tragedy Drama Film crafted with excellence by T. Prakash Rao. The Story revolves around the life of Raghu (played by Guru Dutt)- A Simple and Kind-Hearted man living with his Father (played by Nazir Hussian)- A Landlord and his Step-Mother (played by Lalita Pawar) and a Half Brother- Vikram (played by Feroz Khan)- the complete opposite of his and dominates him. Raghu is mistreated and tortured at home and even his Father don't help him. however, his Father arranges Vikram's marriage with Padma (played by Mala Sinha)- A Sweet and Kind-girl living in the village- but on the wedding day, she got married to Raghu. This caused more tortures on him- but the Padma helped Raghu to overcome them and fell in love with him, leading to consequences.
