In Sultanpur, Pakistan, Rasia, played by Meher Vij gives birth to a mute baby girl. She names her Shahida, after her favorite Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. Rasai is concerned about her muteness and decides to take her to a well-known shrine of Sufi saint in Delhi, India to hope prayers will help her. They go by train and on the way back the train stops for repairs near the Wagah border, where 6 year old Shahida gets off to help a lamb. The train starts moving and she is unable to board back.

After a few minutes she sees a freight train and boards it, but unfortunately it takes her to Haryana. There she meets Bajrangbali devotee Pawan. Realising the child is lost he tries to help her but she doesn’t talk or respond to anything he says. A frustrated Pawan brings her home and lets her live there till he locates her parents. Pawan soon learns she belongs to Pakistan, but on account of not having a passport doesn’t know how to take her there. He crosses the border at night and reaches Pakistan.

In Pakistan he takes help from a local journalist named Chandnawab, who broadcasts his photo and shahida’s on the Internet. That’s when her mother sees the video and recognizes her daughter. They finally meet but Pawan who is mistaken for an Indian spy is arrested. Later on he is released and he bids goodbye to Shahida and her family.
