Vijay is a diligent police officer who lives a comfortable life in the city with his aunt. His father Prem lives in the family farmhouse. Vijay happens to fall in love with his next door neighbor Uma who lives with her parents. Her father comes to know of their romance and objects to it. She however is adamant and the two get married. Soon Uma gives birth to baby Pinky. Meanwhile Vijay is assigned the task of nabbing the deadly gangster Badey. He manages to do it but there are serious consequences for it. He is threatened and a bomb is planted in his house. Vijay and his family move to the farm house, but Badey’s gang catches up soon after and abducts Uma and Pinky. Later Uma dies in a horrific accident while Badey is brought to justice by Vijay, for all his crimes. The film is directed by S A Chandrasekar and produced by Salim. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Shammi Kapoor, Sridevi, Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor and Vijay Arora.
