An American called Mickey, played by Luke Kenny comes to Mumbai on a temporary basis and is looking for someone who plays the Banjo well. His friend Christina, Nargis Fakhri is attuned with local music festivals around the city and he takes her advice but to no avail.
Meanwhile Mickey happens to come across Taraat and his band performing at a local festival and loves his music. A local MLA introduces Cristina to Taraat and she instantly besots him. Christina who initially didn’t like staying in Mumbai starts to see a good side to the city. Meanwhile a rival music band of Tarrat falsely accuses him of killing the same MLA who introduced him and Christina. His band members shocked at this turn of events, disown Taraat.
Later, the accusation is proved false by the rival member, and Taraat’s band get back together. A music boss notices the bands talent and signs them for a music deal.
