Joseph loses his mother and is then sent to a Catholic boarding school. He however is not happy and cannot even eat the canteen food. He then comes across a boy named Sandu who belongs to a minority caste named Siddi. He comes to know that Sandhu doesn’t eat but takes the food for his family who are unable to feed themselves. Joseph then feels bad for Sandhu and gives him half of his food. He then helps in the kitchen and takes extra helpings of food just for Sandhu. Soon Joseph begins to steal food from the school and the other children notice this and complain to the principal Father Lobo.
Father Lobo humiliates him in front of the school and beats him up. He then puts a notice that Joseph is to be rusticated from school. He then goes to pray to Jesus in church and runs away back to his village. The movie is directed by Gopi Desai and produced by Rock Demers. The star cast includes Firdausi Jussawalla, Pooja Batra and Seema Bhat.
