Basant is an Emotional-Romantic Tragedy Thriller Family Drama Film exceptionally crafted by Bibhuti Mitra. The Story revolves around the life of Meenakshi Rai (played by Nutan)- A Sweet and beautiful girl living with her father who fells in love with Rajesh (played by Pran)- A Handsome man and wants to marry him- but her father disagrees.
