Shyam lives a comfortable life with his step mother Nirmala in a remote village. He has fallen into bad habits of drinking and womanizing. He frequently asks money from Nirmala and she has no choice but to give it to him. Nirmala meanwhile is in a secret relationship with Mishra. One day Shyam goes missing and a dead body that was thought to be his turns out to be of a bear. Meanwhile Shyam’s friend Prakash comes to search him and tells Nirmala that they were to receive Rs. 10Lkahs. When she asks for his share, he refuses it. Prakash falls in love with a
