Set in Lucknow, Gattu is an honest and naïve man. His struggle with getting a lucrative employment takes him to many places but he still doesn’t get a good job. What he does find is a girl he fall sin love with in his neighborhood. The girl’s name is Binny and many high profile families have their eyes on her to make her their daughter-in-law. This gets Gattu into trouble, especially because in his village they think everyone is a brother and sister to each other. So Gattu is on a mission to prove this age-old thinking wrong and fight for the girl he loves.
The film is directed by Ajay K Pannalal and produced by Tony D'souza, Amul Vikas Mohan and Nitin Upadhyaya. The music is composed by Rishi Rich and Jaidev Kumar. The star cast includes Rajkummar Rao, Shruti Haasan, Gautam Gulati,Herry Tangri, Gulshan Grover, Ranjeet, Kamlesh Gill, Darshan Jariwala and Ninad Kamat.
