Kalpana is a happy-go-lucky girl living in the girl’s hostel. She falls in love with a boy named Raman and gets pregnant during their whirlwind romance. A devastated Kalpana tries to commit suicide but is saved by her hostel roommate Revati. She then talks her out of it and soon Kalpana marries Kumar, who is a rich industrialist while Revati marries Shivnath, a photographer. One day Shivnath happens to come across some pictures of Kalpana and Raman and starts to blackmail her that he would reveal all to Kumar. She eventually reveals all to Kumar and Shivnath is embarrassed. The film is directed by Bapu and produced by Pranlal Mehta. The star cast includes Shashi Kapoor, Raj Kiran, Reena Roy,
