The Story revolves around the life of Mohan (played by Sailesh Kumar)- A Kind-Hearted man living with his Elder brother Shyam (played by Balraj Sahni)- A Talented man who is married to Geeta (played by Meena Kumari)- A Kind-Hearted woman- but they are childless. Mohan falls in love with Prabha (played by Seema Deo)- A Sweet girl from a wealthy family and they marry with joy.
