A group of Indian women in Great Britain decide to have a day out at the beach resort. They all gather to take the bus ride together to reach their destination. These women come from all walks of life and have their own personal challenges and stories to tell. Each one is going through some kind of crisis or the other. While one is trying to escape her abusive husband, another young girl, is stressed about accidentally getting pregnant by her boyfriend. They all have their crosses to bear but at the end they come together and make the trip a memorable one. The film is directed by Gurinder Chadha and produced by Nadine Marsh-Edwards. The music is composed by John Altman and Craig Pruess. The story and screenplay is written by Meera Syal and Gurinder Chadha.
The cinematography is by John Kenway. The star cast includes Jimmi Harkishin, Kim Vithana and Sarita Khajuria.
