Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is a vigilante action film directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, co written by Motwane along with Anurag Kashyap and Abhay Korane , starring Harshvardhan Kapoor and Priyanshu Painyuli in the lead roles. Ashish Verma and Nishikant Kamat in the supporting roles.
The film released on June 1st 2018, for Phantom Films banner was also screened at Neuchatel Film Festival.. The film started on a moderate positive review but failed to do well at the Box Office.
A story of three young friends Bhavesh (Priyanshu Painyuli), Siku ( Harshvardhan Kapoor) and Rajat ( Ashish Verma) who together start a You Tube Channel called Insaaf TV . The trio hide their face inside a brown paper bag and target to Tree cutting, Public Urination , Drivers who go the wrong way or through no entry streets. Siku (Harshvardhan) decides he had enough and decides to migrate to America but Bhavesh is committed to this cause and wants to bring control over the wrong happening in Mumbai city. While doing so he stumbles upon the king pin who has pifred water supply from the municipal line and gets involved with the state minister’s level played by Nishikant Kamat.
Bhavesh Joshi Superhero works interesting until the interval but gradually loses its focus with far-fetched twists and moralizing to the 153 minutes of the film that is moves away from the logic and is a hodge-podge with unconvincing act by the actors.
