The film revolves around the tragic Bhopal gas leakage that killed many people. The human side of the tragedy is truly shocking and irreparable. The Union Carbide factory has a gas leakage that spread to a distance of 20 sq km and killed more than 8000 people. Even though the alarm was set off for alerting the people, it was too late. Things take a turn for the worse when research shows that the coming generations will continue to suffer due to the affects of the gas inhaled.
People who suffered closely due to the aftermath of the gas leak will have to pick up the pieces of their lives and bury their loved ones who weren’t so lucky. The movie is directed by Mahesh Mathai and produced by Deepak Nayar. The star cast includes Naseruddin Shah, Kay Kay Menon, Vijay Raaz, Bert Thomas, Menon, Nethra Raghuraman, Zeenat Aman. The music is composed by Shanker Mahadevan and the lyrics are written by Ila Arun, Piyush Jha, Sagarika, Prasoon Joshi, Nasir Kazmi. The cinematography is by Mahesh Mathai.
