Billoo’s widowed mother dies and he is then adopted by Shankar and his wife Parvati. The couple have three more children of their own; son Ravi and two daughter Pinky and Jyoti. When Shankar is killed by a goon named Tiwari, Billoo swears revenge and decides to sacrifice to take care of his family. He drives a cycle rickshaw then an auto rickshaw so that Ravi and his siblings can have a decent education. As they grow up, Jyoti marries Vijay and goes to live with him. Pinky befriends Munna Tiwari and Ravi marries the wealthy Nisha. Things get complicated when Nisha gets pregnant and wants Parvati as her maid. They then take over her palatial home and render her and Billoo homeless.
The film is directed by Sisir Misra and produced by Suresh Mishra. The music is composed by Jagjit Singh and the cinematography is by H Laxminarayan. The star cast includes Shatrughan Sinha, Govinda, Anita Raj, Neelam, Sumeet Saigal, Kader Khan, Harish Patel, Gulshan Grover, Vishal Dutt, Goga Kapoor, Mac Mohan, Sudhir Dalvi, Yunus Perwaiz, Archana Joglekar, Rohini Hattangadi, Jayanti Babbar and Ashalata.
