Hummi is an aspiring musician bird. She loves to sing and hum new tunes. She practices everyday to perfect her pitch but yet she feels something is missing. She hears the other birds croon and isn’t satisfied with the kind of music that is created. One day she happens to hear a couple of human’s making some fantastic music is immediately attracted to it. She thinks if only she and her friends could play some music that sounded like this it would be great. Thus, Hummi beings to watch and learn from the humans.
Hummi takes part in a singing and music competition called Bird Idol where every bird has to demonstrate their unique musical talents in front of a large audience. Hummi, who has been practicing for days and weeks on the human music that he has learned, plays it in front of the audience. The crowd is shocked at how a bird could possibly make sounds like these.
The Movie is written and directed by Jyotin Goel and produced by Warner Bros and Goel Screencarft. The music is composed by Sangeet Haldipur and the singers include Shaan, Kailash Kher, Juhi Chawla and Neeraj Shridhar. The screen play is written by Jyotin Goel and Dev Goel. The star cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla, Shaan and Kailash Kher.
