The story of the film, depicts how a woman who takes birth, sleeps with her husband and even gives birth to her own child on the bistar/bed is considered a real and respected woman. That bed too is takes as a pure one. However, when the same bistar is used to take away her modesty and rob her of her integrity, it becomes an impure and dark one. The bistar has many faces to it and a woman is constantly judged by how she uses it. The story of the movie also centers around Sushma, who got married as per her parents wishes and fulfilled all her duties like a good daughter, however life was cruel to her.
Sushma’s life became a living hell when after her wedding she was stripped off her modesty and humiliated. She is now contemplating suicide as there is no other choice left for her in life to carry on. The only other way would be to take revenge on those brutes who did this to her. The film is directed by R Thakur and produced by Anil Singh. The music is composed by Ajay Swami. The star cast includes Surendra Pal, Anjali Sen, Aruna Govil, Yunus Perwaiz, Jr Mehmood, Jankidas and Sarla.
