Dada Thakur, played by Anil Kapoor has become the head of the village after the death of his father Gajraj. He lives with his wife Laxmi, played by Rekha and two younger brothers Arjun and Nakul. Arjun gets married to Meena but she resents Arjun being do dutiful to Dada Thakur. However when she comes to know of him helping her dad she becomes more respectful of her brother-in-law. One day things turn for the worse when Arjun is falsely accused of raping a girl in the village. Since Dada Thakur is the ultimate judge for all that happens in the village, everyone awaits his judgement.

 

Later it is revealed that Arjun was framed by Jagannath. However a furious Jagannath gets angered and kills the girl and makes everyone believe that  she committed suicide due to the shame she was put in by Arjun. He is then sent into exile for 10 years by his family. The truth comes to the fore and Arjun is announced to be innocent. Soon he takes over the throne of the head of the village. The movie is directed by Rama Rao Tatineni and produced by Yogesh Anand. The music is composed by Viju Shah and the lyrics are written by Kumaar and Anand Bakshi. The cinematography is by M S Prabhu and the choreography is by B H Tharun Kumar and Chinni Prakash. The star cast includes Aruna Irani,Ranjeet,Rajnikant,Sadashiv Amrapurkar,Paresh Rawal,Shakti Kapoor,Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
