Mallika Arora, played by Manisha Koirala is a successful pop artist who has lived life on her own terms. She doesn’t believe in getting married and only wants to have fun in life. She meets the owner of RK Music World Rahul Kapoor, played by Aryan Vaid and is attracted to him. The two fall in love and have a physical relation. Soon Rahul proposes marriage to Mallika, which she politely declines saying that she isn’t marriage material, moreover she is of the opinion, that once a couple get married, love and passion fly out the window. She thus refuses to marry him.
A heartbroken Rahul moves on and concentrates on his work instead. Meanwhile Mallika’s albums start to fail one after another. Rahul launches a new pop star Rashmi, played by Preeti Jhangiani who soon starts climbing the stairs of success. Rahul falls in love with her and they both soon decide to get married. Hearing of this news, Mallika is disturbed and turns to alcohol. She orders her bodyguard Jaidev to kill Rahul in a fit of rage. Jaidev who is also in love with Mallika gladly agrees. Next day Mallika comes to her senses and stops Jaidev from hurting Rahul but it's too late to change his plans.
The movie is directed by Jai Prakash and produced by Umesh Chouhan. The film is written by Meeraq Mirza. The music is composed by Anand Raj Anand and the cinematography is by Yogesh Jani.
