Chandraveer Singh, played by Anupam Kher is very traditional and follows his customs to the hilt. Not ever wanting to go against his communities heritage and surely not letting his children do so, he wants only Rajput daughter-in-laws for his sons. His sons include Prithvi Singh, played by Chandrachur Singh, Udaybhan, played by Mukul Dev, Yashwant, played by Sushant Singh, Harish and Veer, played by Tusshar Kapoor.
Currently busy with his daughter’s wedding, Chandraveer is a picture of royalty and wants to see everything pristine and imperial around his celebrations. Meanwhile Veer who was studying in London has just returned and along with him is his beautiful Pujabi girlfriend Chandni, played by Kulraj Randhawa. At first Chandraveer Singh doesn’t pay much heed to the couple but later when he learns she isn’t Rajput he is skeptical on his son’s choice.
It is now up to Chandni to win over the family, especially Veer’s father who will not let his son marry a Punjabi at any cost. There is more mayhem to the madness when Chandni’s parents join in Veer’s sister’s wedding celebrations.
