Vicky, played by Sanjay Dutt is a wealthy businessman and takes care of the family business along with his spontaneous and prankster younger brother Prem, played by Salman Khan. One day a girl called Sapna, played by Karisma Kapoor comes to his office to apply for a secretary. After a series of chaotic incidents, Vicky hires her. Soon Vicky falls in love with her but she falls in love with Prem. Their families think that Sapna would make an ideal wife for Vicky, as she takes good care of his health as well as work. Little do they know that Prem and Sapna have already fallen in love.
Prem comes to know that Vicky has taken a liking for Sapna and doesn’t want to get in his brother’s way and thus tells Sapna to move on. A heartbroken Sapna reluctantly decides to marry Vicky. Soon the truth comes to the fore and Prem and Sapna unite. Meanwhile a new girl joins the office and Vicky finds love again.
The movie is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Nitin Manmohan. The music is composed by Anand-Milind and Nitin Raikwar.
