Sapna, played by Rani Mukerji is a popular Bollywood actress but has now lost her popularity and become very lonely. She has turned to alcohol as a way of living. One day when she goes out drinking and driving, she rams her car into a young man named Pappu, played by Govinda. He escapes with minor injuries but he instantly recognizes her and is star struck. He tells her what a huge fan he is of hers. He tells her he is willing to do anything for her. She takes this as a golden opportunity and asks him to kill her two-timing boyfriend Rahul. He agrees but in return asks Sapna to get rid of her over-bearing grandmother. She too agrees and they go on their missions.

Pappu manages to kill Rahul and Sapna goes to his mansion looking for his grandmother. Turns out that his grandmother has decided to give all her property to Pappu after her death. Hearing this Pappu is heartbroken that he had such bad intentions for her and apologizes to her. Meanwhile Rahul is still alive and with the police. Sapna and Pappu then confess their true feelings to each other and decide to get married.

The movie is directed by Aziz Sejawal and produced by Vijay Mehta. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
