Chanakya

Chanakya is one of the upcoming movies of the action-drama genre. This new film’s story is about a modern-day political strategist and the legendary 4th-century BCE advisor Chanakya (Kautilya), who appears in the strategist’s imagination to guide him through intricate power struggles. 

The narrative develops with the current-day protagonist facing systemic corruption and the crisis of elections and governance, encouraging him to draw upon Chanakya’s ancient wisdom at essential moments in his journey. 

Each time he has an ethical question or some political crisis occurs, the historical Chanakya emerges in his mind, advising him based on the principles of the Arthashastra, advising him on matters of statecraft, economic policy, and right leadership. The plot is developed as a two-part experience to facilitate power and politics. Chanakya is one of the upcoming movie releases that has strived to negotiate the multiple layers of leadership, legacy, and the modern engagement with the governance regarding the ancient strategic genius.
