Charas is an Action-Thriller Romantic Drama Film crafted with excellence by Ramanand Sagar. The story revolves around the life of Suraj (played by Dharmendra) and his Family living in Uganda- Forced by a Dictator to leave the country, and they shifted to their Hometown in India. However, Kalicharan- the Employee of his Father, for years corrupted their business by involving Drug Rackets and burnt their properties. When Suraj returns- he fights against him with the Help of a Beautiful girl- Radha (played by Hema Malini).
