Siddharth, played by Farooq Shaikh lives with his close friends Omi, played by Rakesh Bedi and Jomo, played by Ravi Baswani in a shared room and study together at Delhi University. Siddharth is very studious and loves to read in his free time, while his friends enjoy looking at girls and watching movies. They are always trying to woo pretty girls. The same trick is used by Amitabh Bachchan to woo Rekha when she’s passing by. One day they see a beautiful girl Neha in their neighborhood and try to impress her but they fail miserably. They are now embarrassed by their deeds. One day Neha ends up coming to their apartment to sell a washing powder as a sales girl. Jomo and Omi hide seeing her but Siddharth is attracted to her and they both become friends.
Soon Siddharth and Neha fall in love and start dating. Omi and Jomo are jealous and try to break their relationship with their silly tricks. After their plan works they notice that Siddhart has become depressed and distant as a result of the failed relationship and in guilt get the two reunited. The movie is directed by Sai Paranjpye and produced by Gul Anand and Jayshree Anand-Makhija. The music is composed by Raj Kamal.
