A romantic film about a 64-year-old man falling in love with a 34-year-old girl.
Buddhadev Gupta (Amitabh Bachchan) is a chef & owner of London’s top Indian Restaurant who lives with his 84-year-old mom. His only friend and confidante is a nine year old young girl, suffering from Cancer.
Buddhadev’s passion is cooking. Nina Verma (Tabu) walks into the restaurant, a charming, beautiful young lady. They fall in love with each other, want to get married. Buddhadev has to meet with her father Om Prakash (Paresh Rawal) unfortunately is younger than him and is shocked at his daughter falling in love with a man older than her own father. He decides to starve if Nina marries Buddhadev. Finally both of them convince the father and the film ends with a happy ending that to fall in love , age is not a factor.
