Chhorii is a remake of Furia's 2017 Marathi film Lapachhapi, about a pregnant lady whose unborn child is pursued by demonic spirits. The sequel, tentatively dubbed Chhorii 2, will pick up Sakshi (Nushrratt Bharucchanarrative )'s where the first left off, bringing back some major characters and introducing new scares.
