Amar Saxena is a wealthy business man who is honest and hardworking. One day after a board meeting, Amar meets a beggar who keeps referring to him as Rohit. Amar says he is not Rohit and feeling sorry for him, offers a lot of money for his ailing wife’s treatment. The beggar however refuses to take the money. This really intrigues Amar and he joins the beggar to the hospital where his wife is admitted to help him out. He then meets his wife Seema and falls in love with her. Soon it is revealed that Seema and the beggar are both police officers and are tricking Amar to investigate the murder of his uncle by him. Meanwhile when Amar is arrested and tried in court, he convinces the court that he is mentally unstable and ends up being sent to an asylum. Amar has to now find out why he was falsely implicated for the murder.
The movie is directed and produced by Vimal Kumar. The music is composed by AnandMilind and the lyrics are written by Rani Malik. The story and screenplay is written by S Khan. The cinematography is by Anil Danda and the choreography is by Ganesh Acharya. The star cast includes Govinda, Shilpa Shetty, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Tej Sapru, Kader Khan, Avtar Gill, Dinesh Hingoo, Aasif Shaikh,Yunus Perwaiz, Javed Khan, Dilip Sihna, JrMehmood, Gurbachan, Aruna Irani, Divya Dutta, Guddi Maruti and Bobby Saini.
