Maya, played by Natalia Janoszek comes to India with big dreams. She has heard so much about the beautiful country full of traditions and cultural heritage. She arrives in Mumbai to search for a suitable employment. One night when she is at a local restaurant she gets kidnapped by two politically powerful men namely; Makiya and Nana. They take her to their place and rape and torture her. They then leave her on the streets of the city semi nude. Luckily a social activist Satya Deshmukh finds her and takes her to the hospital. There he learns about the ordeal Maya has been through. He promises her justice and gets his friend Sitapati Shukla, a lawyer to help her against the goons.
A case is registered against Makiya and Nana but little is being done to make them feel responsible for their ghastly act. During the court proceedings, Maya is humiliated and her character is questioned, thus blaming her for the rape. Sitapati makes it his life’s goal to get Maya justice at any cost and starts to find evidence against the two rowdy men. This will be a tough battle to fight but only time will tell what lies in store in Maya’s fate.
The movie is written and directed by Shekhar Sirrinn.
