The story of this film revolves around a 16th century poet and singer named Surdas, who was blind. His poems and lyrics were known to be all written in praise of Lord Krishna as he was an ardent devotee of him. His songs and poems are famous till today. The film is a biopic on his life and how he achieved so much with struggle and hard work. The film is directed and produced by Ram Pahwa.
