Chuntuji, played by Rishi Kapoor is a successful film actor but now harbors his potential of joining politics and thus goes back to his village in Hadbahedi, which is situated at a remote corner. The village has electricity barely for 6 hours and no hardly any trains stop there, yet the place has lot of positivity and happiness around. No one really quarrels or has any major conflicts with the other. Thus the village is quite peaceful. Chintuji’s presence is an honor and like a great privilege to the villagers.
He however has other plans. He gives his name to a liquor brand, which is sold by the neighboring village of Triphala. There he makes a deal of getting a plot of land and one Crore rupees, thus misleading the villagers that he is re-locating. Meanwhile he is also planning to work on a film and the crew creates havoc in the village, molesting the innocent women, stealing valuables from villagers, ect. Somewhere Chintuji feels responsible for all the chaos caused in the village.
The movie is written and directed by Ranjit Kapoor and produced by Bobby Bedi and Gautam Talwar. The music is composed by Sukhwinder Singh.
