In the back waters of Kerala a girl called Chirutha lives with his father. He is so desperate to get her married that he will give her away to the first man who can give him the hefty dowry he is demanding. When Koren from the village hears this he is thrilled as he has always loved Chirutha. He thus gives himself to bonded labour and asks the zamindar to give him a loan of that exact amount. The marriage finally takes place and Koren and Chiruth are quite happy in their married life. Things turn ugly when Koren makes the mistake of asking a share in that years crop from the zamindar. The film is directed and produced by Tanvir Ahmed. The music is composed by Salil Choudhary. The star cast includes Inayatullah, Kantroo, Deepti Naval, Uday Chandra, Sudhir Dalvi, Kalyan Chatterji and Ruhee.
