Deepa is an innocent girl who is turned into a hardened criminal due to her harsh life circumstances. When a gang of crooks led by Sukhdev does a robbery, Deepa is arrested for it and gets six months in jail. When she is released she wants to give up her old ways. Meanwhile the judge in the juvenile court Mr. Sinha adopts Deepa and tries to reform her. The family physician and his friend Kishore try to transform Deepa’s crude ways. Then Deepa remembers Kishore and the fact that he was part of Sukhdev’s gang. He is embarrassed and leaves. Soon Shambhu Dada who had earlier taken Deepa under his wings comes back and threatens the Sinha family to let her rob them of their riches. The film is directed by Jyoti Swami and produced by V K Sood. The music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Shreeram Lagoo, Jalal Aga, Shashi Kiran, Ajit, Neetu Singh, Helen, Birbal, Mohan Choti, Sunil Dhawan, Uma Khosla, Aruna Irani, Leela Mishra, Indrani Mukherjee, Sonia Sahni and Anita.
