In 2023, Venkat Prabhu, making his Telugu filmmaking debut, wrote and directed the action thriller Custody. Srinivasa Chitturi, along with Srinivasaa Silver Screen and Anji Industries, produced the movie. Starring Naga Chaitanya, Arvind Swamy, R. Sarathkumar, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, and Sampath Raj, the film was concurrently shot in Telugu and Tamil.
