Daag is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by Amiya Chakrabarty. The Story revolves around the life of Shankar (played by Dilip Kumar)- A Hardworking and kind man living with his widowed mother in poor conditions and sells toys for the sake of living and he fells in love with Parvati (played by Nimmi)- A Sweet girl and gets addicted to Alcohol. However, his mother wants him to leave Alcohol and he moves to a new town for the sake of getting rich and in a year he returns by achieving his dreams to the village and gets shocked to see- Parvati marriage to another man, leading him to self-destruction and causes consequences.
