Daas Dev is a romantic political thriller directed by Sudhir Mishra. Released on 27th April 2018. The story is by zuhaebb and dialogues written by Sudhir Mishra and Shubhra Chatterji , starring Rahul Bhatt as Dev Pratap Chauhan, Richal Chadda as paro , Aditi Rao Hydari as Chandni with supporting star cast, Saurabh Shukla, Vineet Kumar Singh, Anil George, Deepraj Rana and Dalip Tahil.Anurag Kashyap in the guest appearance.
The story is about a politician who after giving a speech dies on his way when his helicopter crashes. His young son Dev grows up living a lavish life and is a drug addict. Due to his wayward attitude in life he owes crores of money to the financers. They kidnap him but is rescued by his girlfriend. When his uncle suffers a heart stroke Dev returns to his old ways and claims his father’s legacy. The film is made in a poor light showcasing the rich and spoilt brats who like to live on the edge and going against the law seems like a normal thing.
