Sanjana, played by Karishma Kapoor, is a supermodel and in love with Rohan, played by Rajneesh Duggal who is a wealthy business tycoon. One day Rohan gets kidnapped for a demand of 500 million ransom. The police try and trace his kidnappers but to no avail. Meanwhile, Sanjana starts seeing strange visions and hearing even stranger voices of being called Geeta. Her friend Neetu takes her to a physiatrist.
Sanjana goes through to past life relapse where she sees being a Hindu girl in love with a Muslim boy Iqbal. His best friend Aarif separates both lovers. The next life Sanjana is a Mulsim girl Salma and in love with Ali who goes to war with his friend Rashid. This time it is Rashid who seperates the two lovers. The next life Sanjana is a celibate girl Paro who secretly loves Raj but the commander in chief also loves her. She commits suicide and the Commander asks a psychic to give him the power to separate the lovers in the later lives as well.
Later Sanjana is somehow able to break the cycle of all the next generations curse and gets re-united with Rohan forever. The movie is directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Reliance Entertainment, ASA Productions and Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
