The MNF is about to sign a truce agreement with India but not all are happy. Many are questioning this move as their soldiers have raped our women, taken away our land and killed our innocent families. How can we forget all that and simply make truce with these ruthless people. The leader Matthew, played by Kay Kay Menon is of the opinion and explains it gently to his fellow people that we must forget the past to bring a great future for our coming generations. Only that can bring about peace in the country.
Meanwhile, Matthew invites a doctor from Mizoram to join him and they have a little chat about peace and the unrest in the country. He is now too drunk to drive and go home and thus Mathew urges him to stay over. Matthew’s wife Maria, played by Sonali Kulkarni, has recognized the man in her house. He is the same man who raped her during interrogation. However she was blindfolded at the time. But she can never forget that voice and that peculiar smell. She wants nothing more than revenge. Matthew is then shocked to see the doctor chained and being tortured by Maria. Their lives will never be the same again.
The movie is directed by Kanika Verma and produced by Anish Ranjan. The music is composed by Fazal Qureshi. The cinematography is by Chirantan Das.
