The story of David shows three different men with the same name but from different countries and era’s. The first David, played by Neil Nitin Mukesh, lives in London in the 1975 who works for a deadly don named Ghani and wishes to take over his empire, since his son is disinterested in his illegal activities. David is also in love with Ghani’s assistant Noor and wants to marry her. Meanwhile 2 undercover RAW agents come on a mission to nab Ghani but eventually end up killing him as well as David to hide it from the British authorities.

The second David, played by Vinay Virmani who is 19 years old Christian boy and is an aspiring musician. His father is a priest and requests the local people to do charity for helping those in need. However, a conniving Hindu fanatical politician, Malati, spreads rumors that the priest is forcefully converting people into Christians for money. She humiliates the priest in public and this deeply affects him and he loses his mind. The opposition party takes advantage of this and encourages David to kill Malati but this plan goes horribly wrong as a police officer is killed in stead.

The third David, played by Vikram, is a fisherman from Goa. He is a chronic alcoholic and in love with a girl called Roma who can’t speak and hear. However, Roma is engaged, to be married to his friend who doesn’t love her but is marrying her only for her father’s riches in dowry. But later learns that his friend truly loves Roma and was only making it look like he doesn’t to avoid being humiliated by his friends. David then lets the wedding go through.

The three Davids are then shown to be interconnected into each other’s stories somehow crossing the generation gap coming into the present. The movie is written, directed and produced by Bejoy Nambiar. It is co-produced by Sharada Trilok and co-written by Natasha Sahgal.
